"All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic" Regression Analysis for the Perception of Terrorism Within the United States
My regression analysis for the perception of terrorism in the U.S. signifies my ability to effectively formulate research questions and select appropriate investigative methods to answer them. My analysis was indicative for the disparity in media coverage for terrorist incidents with a Muslim perpetrator, which gives the illusion that practicing Muslims are responsible for more acts of terrorism than any other demographic in the U.S. As a result, I correlated the media bias for terrorist incidents to the negative social construction for the Arabic community, which is systemic for narrow policy framing such as Executive Order 13769.

The memo signifies my ability to link a problem to accumulated evidence as it pertains to the Army’s Tactical Explosive Detection Dog Disposition Process from 2011 to 2014. The evidence I examined from the DoD's Office of Inspector General served as a catalyst in amending the National Defense Authorization Act to prioritize former handlers in the adoption of all MWDs.

"Salute to Service?" National Defense Authorization Act 2016 § 2583. Military animals: transfer and adoption
Through observing the policy process in amending the National Defense Authorization Act, the paper examines military working dogs' (MWDs) role in effecting policy decisions, despite not serving as a human actor. The artifact illustrates my ability to use qualitative data to infer the positive social construction we reserve for canines in the U.S. similar to traditional Service Members which appeal to the interests of policy makers.
